Sam Bush to perform at Pujols Family Foundation Benefit this month!

Jan 08, 2014

The Pujols Family Foundation is formally introducing Albert Pujols and the work of his Pujols Family Foundation to middle Tennessee with “Onstage in the Off-Season: An Evening with Albert Pujols and Friends" on Tuesday, January 28th at the Wildhorse Saloon. George Plaster from 102.5 The Game and Storme Warren from Great American Country and Sirius/XM will be co-hosting the event. Sam has been invited to perform alongside Rodney Atkins, Little Texas and more. A number of the Major League Baseball athletes who call the Nashville area home will be trading some stories with Albert that are guaranteed to let you be a fly-on-the-wall like never before!

Onstage in the Off-Season” is designed to increase awareness and support the work the Pujols Family Foundation is doing with individuals with Down Syndrome here in the United States and those who are impoverished in Albert’s native Dominican Republic.

Now, where's the connection between Sam Bush and Albert Pujols? Well, we all know that Sam is an avid Cardinals fan. In 2004, Albert Pujols led the Cardinals into the teams first World series since 1987. That year, St. Louis had the best record in baseball and Pujols, who hit .331 with 123 RBI and a career-high 46 HRs during the regular season, was named MVP of the NLCS.
